Superstar Shahrukh Khan was rubbing shoulders with the high and the mighty of the world that had assembled at davos for the World Economic Forum meeting last month. Prime Minister Modi had led a big delegation of Indian businessman to the forum and pitched other countries with his 'Make in India' slogan.

SRK becomes Nostalgic

Shahrukh Khan became nostalgic when he recreated the DDLJ magic. The actor also struck the familiar DDLJ pose amidst the Swiss Alps and transported us to the 90s. One cannot forget the scenes of the iconic flick, a portion of which was shot in Zurich, Switzerland.

Remember the dialogues — “Ab Tum Rahul Ke Sath Ho So No Problem” and of course the “Bade Bade Shehero Mein Aisi Choti Choti Batein Ho Jati Hai.”

The film was a runaway hit and chronicles the life of an NRI based in the UK who continues to pine for his motherland, Shahrukh tries to marry his daughter in India.

Awarded Crystal Award

The star was awarded the prestigious Crystal Award at the World Economic Forum in Davos for his contribution to the society. Other recipients of this year’s award included Hollywood stars Elton John and Cate Blanchett.

These days King Khan is busy planning a strategy for his Kolkata Knight Riders team that is gearing up to play the 2018 edition of the Indian Premier League.

Surprisingly his team let off skipper Gautam Gambhir in the auction after he chose to play for his home team the Delhi Daredevils.

Recently, the star was also in the news after the Income Tax department attached his Aligarh farmhouse in the Benami properties act. The land was bought saying it was for agricultural purpose but the star had built a farmhouse at the place for his personal use.
