Story: The movie unfolds the life of a teenager with Cerebral Palsy.

She is an aspiring songwriter and music composer. Like every other teenager, she faces love, heartbreak, companionship, and fights with her mother. The movie takes us on the journey of her everyday routine, her hopes, aspirations, happiness, and griefs.

'Barfi' (September 14, 2012)

Story: A child who was named “Murphy” but was popularly known as Barfi, grew up to be a charming, smart and handsome man in spite of being deaf and mute since birth.

He fell in love, had his heart broken and finally finds his true love in Jhilmil. Barfi and Jhilmil were childhood friends but Jhilmil has Autism and finds solace in no one but Barfi. This emotional story depicts that true love has no conditions and knows no bounds.

Story: A young Muslim boy with Asperger Syndrome was taught by his mother in childhood that there are only two types of people in this world, the Good and the Bad.

Story: A boy with a rare genetic disorder called Progeria is 12 years old but looks 60. In spite of his looks, he is very popular in his school because of his charming tricks and quick-thinking mind. He even manages to meet the MP and also successfully unites his parents.

'Taare Zameen Par' (December 21, 2007)

Cast: Darsheel Safary, Aamir Khan, Tisca Chopra.

Story: Dyslexia was a term unknown to Ishaan’s parents who thought that their child was too stubborn to take heed of their words.

The teacher, Ram Shankar Nikumbh observes Ishaan and finds that his true talent is in painting and he gradually helps Ishaan at his own pace to cope with his academics.

'Black' (February 4, 2005)

Story: Young Michelle was driven in the world of black when she became deaf and blind due to an illness.

"Black" is the story of a teacher who gives the light of knowledge to Michelle, who teaches her words to define the things she felt, who one day leaves Michelle on her own only to return after 20 years. By this time, he has lost his memory and now it is Michelle’s turn to give him the words he had taught.

'Aankhen' (April 5, 2002)

Cast: Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Sushmita Sen, Arjun Rampal, Paresh Rawal.

Story: For the sole purpose of seeking revenge, a schizophrenic former Bank Manager plots a robbery where the only alibi will be the robbers being blind. For this, he hires a teacher who manages to train them in looting a bank. The movie signifies that a disability can also be a strength if you know how to use it.
