"Baaghi 2" hit the screens on March 30, 2018. Right after the success of "Baaghi," there were talks of making a sequel, and "Baaghi II" is finally here. Labeled as “Love Story of a rebel,” the flick has everything which can help it become a hit. The movie is directed by one of the leading choreographers in the country, Ahmed Khan.

The trailer has already created a buzz with its death-defying stunts and action. To top it up is the refined and rehashed version of the popular “Ek Do Teen,” number from “Tezaab” of the 80’s.

The song has got a mixed response and received both bouquets and brickbats.

But it managed to create a massive buzz about the flick and improve its commercial prospects.

Watching the trailer reveals that Disha also has some action scenes and she essayed her role as a girlfriend and then as a mother brilliantly. She looks beautiful in the movie. Other actors have also pitched in with their performance which cannot be faulted.

The plot

The film is a remake of Telugu film “Parim” and is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. Tiger will be playing the role of Ronnie in the film while his co-star, Disha Patani will be playing the role of Neha. It is a simple story of a boy meeting a girl in the college and love blossoming. The couple decides to get married, and from here the story takes a twist.

The movie has an overdose of action, and Tiger Shroff has the body as well as the temperament to fit into the role.

Tiger made his debut with “Heropanti” and later was seen in “Baaghi” with Shraddha Kapoor which became a big hit at the box office. Tiger has been paired with Disha Patani in "Baaghi II." The movie also features Shraddha Kapoor.

Audience response

The rushes of the flick shows Tiger is much fitter and the action scenes are stupendous. It has been reported that Tiger Shroff has undergone rigorous martial art training in Singapore and the result is all over the film.

Tiger is on a mission to rescue a girl single-handedly, the incarnation of a “One Man Army.” The songs of the flick are already viral, and the chemistry between Disha and Tiger Shroff is perfect, and why not, she has been rumored to be his girlfriend.

Music of the flick is good but not something which can climb the charts. The remake of the “Ek Do Teen” song by Jacqueline Fernandez does not compare with the elegance and pomp which Madhuri Dixit has been able to display in the original. Jacqueline has done some fantastic steps which are quite eye-catching.

The USP of the flick is action though at times it becomes a little too much, especially at the end where the action scenes are lengthy and loud. Editing is good except again the action scenes in the end which could have been cut to make the flick more sleek and enjoyable.

The box-office collection on day one is expected to be in the range of Rs 15-20 crores. The complete details of the earnings will be posted here as soon as they are available.

Tiger Shroff

Tiger’s acting has improved and he has put in a lot of hard-work to portray his role as realistically as possible. Disha and Tiger had amazing on-screen chemistry and carried their roles with ease and aplomb. The only sticking point in this action-packed saga is Tiger’s dialogue delivery which needs to be improved. Tiger looks weak in energy and enigma when compared with Sunny Deol in "Ghayal" and "Ghatak."

Ahmed Khan is improving with each passing year, and his experience of making four films is visible in "Baaghi 2." His direction is flawless, and his flair in action cannot be questioned.

The flick is releasing on March 30, 2018. It needs how the audience reacts to the efforts put in by the whole team of "Baaghi II."

The movie got mixed reactions from the public on Twitter.
