Bollywood is in a state of elation especially after a string of success at the box-office. As the dust caused by the ‘Padmavat’ controversy settles down, we can look at the other releases which are coming in the next fortnight.

There are three films which are scheduled for releases in the coming week — "Raid" on March 16, 2018, "Hichki" on Mar 23, 2018, and "Baaghi 2" on March 30, 2018.

Ajay Devgn rocks again in 'Raid'

Produced by Abhishek Pathak, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar under the co-production of Panorama Studios & T-Series, “Raid” chronicles the triumphs and the tribulation of a righteous Income Tax Officer well played by Ajay Devgn.

Other actors in the film include Ileana D'Cruz, Sadanand Verma, and Saurabh Shukla. Ileana D'Cruz and Ajay will be collaborating again with "Baadshaho." The film is based on one of the most talked about and meticulously planned Income Tax raids across the country. It details the struggle and the tribulations of an upright Income Tax Officer who plans and executes a raid on one of the wealthy goons of the city.

The trending issue of recent times being black money and criminals who have swindled billions of the nation’s cash reserve, the film is inevitably going to click and augur to the general mood prevailing across the country.

The film has been shot in Lucknow and Raebareli. The shooting had commenced in September 2017.

The film is also expected to do well at the box-office.

Rani Mukherjee's come back film 'Hichki'

“Hichki” is going to be Rani Mukherjee’s comeback film after a four-year hiatus. The flick chronicles the life of a teacher played by Rani Mukherjee suffering from Tourette syndrome.

Going by the reviews, it seems that Rani has put her heart and soul into the character she is playing.

The select few who had a chance of watching the film including Anil Kapoor are all agog after watching Rani’s performance. Anil Kapoor who worked with the Bengali lass in cinemas like "Nayak" and "Calcutta Mail" lauded her role and even said that she had become his new and favorite teacher.

Indian masses hear for the first time about Tourette syndrome.

"Hichki" is directed by Siddharth P Malhotra and is the story of a woman suffering from a rare disease. The disease leads to involuntary movements and sounds. Rani plays the role of Naina; the would-be teacher is suffering from TS. At first, she is rejected by the school administration but later given a class composed of a few underprivileged kids who the Big Whig School was forced to admit because of the RTE act of the Right To Education Act. How Naina manages to make the turnaround with these underprivileged kids is the crux of the film.

The Student-Teacher relationship has been essayed sometimes in Bollywood in the past ("Taare Zameen Pe," "Three Idiots").

Looking at the first 30 seconds of the trailer gives us a fair idea of the course of the flick. However, we can expect something new from Rani Mukherjee. Remembers how she carried her role on her own in “Black” against veterans like Amitabh Bachchan.

'Baaghi 2': Action overdose

"Baaghi 2" is an all-out action entertainer and will be released on March 30, 2018. The flick is directed by Ahmed Khan and stars Tiger Shroff, Disha Patani, Manoj Vajpayee, Randeep Hooda and Prateik Babbar.

The trailer for the flick was released a few days, and it was all bombs, artillery guns, helicopter gunship and Tiger Shroff in a new avatar as a Baaghi or the rebel. The producer also released a new poster of the action flick, and Tiger Shroff looks ruggedly handsome. The poster features an angry Tiger spraying bullet 360 degrees from his assault rifle.
