Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt has made fans' jaw-drop with her brilliant performance in the trailer of "raazi." Released on April 10, the short video gave a glimpse to the never-seen-before avatar of Alia and this movie looks like to be another "Highway" for her.

After her debut movie Student of the Year, Alia Bhatt changed viewers' perception about her acting skills with her second film, "Highway". The actress surprised everyone with her terrific performance in the film.

Similarly, Alia has again given goosebumps to the audience with her role in "Raazi".

She plays Sehmat, an Indian Kashmiri girl, who is married off to a Pakistani by her father. She becomes the "eyes and ears" of India in the neighboring country. Raazi shows her as an obedient daughter, loving wife to a Pakistani army officer (played by Vicky Kaushal) and a fearless spy.

The trailer of this Meghna Gulzar's movie has crossed 10 million views in a day. Based on a true story, "Raazi" is co-produced by Karan Johar.

Alia Bhatt's journey from schoolgirl to a spy

The actress is one of the most successful talents in Bollywood. Except for "Shaandaar," Alia's films have done a good business at the box office. Though she made her debut as the typical Karan Johar heroine in "Student of the Year," Alia's choice of films proved that nepotism is not the only key to success.

She showed her talent to the world with her second film, "Highway," in which she is kidnapped by Randeep Hooda and later, the duo falls in love. This 2014 film made Alia win Best Actress awards.

Then, she appeared in "Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania"," 2 States" and "Kapoor & Sons," which were the proper Bollywood masala movies. But she succeeded in them too.

Then, she brought Udta Punjab on the silver screen and again, this proved another "Highway" for her. The same year, Alia appeared in "Dear Zindagi" with Shah Rukh Khan and won hearts with the beautiful and inspiring story.

Now, she is bringing us "Raazi," which will be a new feather in her cap. After this, she'll appear in Zoya Akhtar's "Gully Boy" opposite Ranveer Singh.
