Salman Khan, Qaidi No. 106 spent his night in Jodhpur Central Jail sleeping on the floor.
The court on Thursday pronounced the actor guilty with a 5-year jail term and Rs 10,000 penalty while others Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre, Neelam Kothari and a local businessman were let off on 'benefit of the doubt'.
salman has to spend another day in jail as the court reserves bail order till tomorrow.
The actor has been kept in ward no. 2, adjacent to the cell of self-styled godman Asaram in tight security.
"Salman would be treated as any other prisoner and no preferential treatment would be given to him.
He will have simple bed, rug and cooler. Salman was given simple food like Dal chapatti and morning meal would have khichdi," said Vikram Singh, Jail Superintendent while briefing media.
Sources say the actor didn't eat jail food. But the Jail Superintendent made it clear that the actor had high blood pressure when he arrived and later became normal after the checkup.

Reactions pour in...
Whether its Black Bucks poaching, Hit and run case or public misconduct,do you think the quantum of punishment is proportional to the offence in case of Indian celebrities?#SalmanBailorJail#UnpackYourDreams pic.twitter.com/jXxLauQ47J

People take out their anger on the unjust treatment between an Indian celeb and a common man.
5 years imprisonment given to Salman Khan in Black Buck hunting case is really harsh. Instead of Fining just Rs. 10,000 would request the Court to fine hefty amount in accordance with status of Salman Khan & reduce the 5 years imprisonment to possible minimum#SalmanBailOrJail

When Katrina visited Siddhivinayak temple
Also, reports were doing rounds that Katrina Kaif along with Salman's sister Arpita Khan Sharma visited Siddhivinayak temple on April 4, a day before Salman's hearing in the blackbuck poaching case. Katrina was wearing a simple white kurta and visited the temple along with Arpita and son Ahil in the wee hours.
