Salman Khan, Qaidi No. 106 spent his night in Jodhpur Central Jail sleeping on the floor.

The #court on Thursday pronounced the actor guilty with a 5-year jail term and Rs 10,000 penalty while others Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre, Neelam Kothari and a local businessman were let off on 'benefit of the doubt'.

The actor has been kept in ward no. 2, adjacent to the cell of self-styled godman Asaram in tight security.

"Salman would be treated as any other prisoner and no preferential treatment would be given to him. He will have simple bed, rug and cooler.

Salman was given simple food like Dal chapatti and morning meal would have khichdi," said Vikram Singh, Jail Superintendent while briefing media.

Sources say the actor didn't eat jail food. But the Jail Superintendent made it clear that the actor had high blood pressure when he arrived and later became normal after the checkup.
