Recently, Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kartik Aaryan walked the ramp as showstoppers for Indian designer Manish Malhotra’s fashion show in Singapore. The event showcased the famous designer's summer couture collection of bridal wear. Since the show was a super hit and fans loved the lovely looking duos together, it was obvious that watching them on-screen would be double excitement for fans.

According to the reports making rounds, Kartik and Kareena have allegedly been signed in for Karan Johar’s next. However, they will not be paired as couples in the movie.

The flick is reported to be directed by Raj Mehta. Mehta has previously worked with director Shashank Khaitan and Karan Johar on a number of Dharma projects. It was reported that the Begum of Bollywood Kareen Kapoor Khan has decided to be a part of the untitled movie.

Kareen is all set to make her comeback in the industry with “Veere Di Wedding” directed by Shashanka Ghosh after a break from films on account of her pregnancy.

"Veere Di Wedding" which is scheduled to release on June 1 this year, also stars Swara Bhaskar, Sonam Kapoor, internet star Sumeet Vyas and Shikha Talsania in significant roles. On her upcoming projects, reports indicate that Kareena has agreed for the Bollywood remake of Marathi film “Aapla Manus”. Filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker will direct the movie.

Reports even claim that Kareena is indeed fascinated in the venture and has had numerous meetings with Ashutosh concerning the movie.

The gorgeous actress has been offered many roles by filmmakers after her comeback in the industry.

The cast of Karan Johar's film

The cast of the Kartik-Kareena film is yet to be finalized, however, reports claim that the film will feature two heroines and two heroes.

Kareena will be paired opposite a senior actor and Kartik will romance a younger heroine in the movie. The upcoming film would be produced under Dharma Productions.

Reports further state that Kriti Sanon or Janhvi Kapoor (currently working with Karan Johar’s “Dhadak”, her debut film) could be the possible heroines opposite Kartik.

If this goes out as planned, Kartik’s wish to work with his favorite actress Kareen Kapoor will be fulfilled.

Apparently, “Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety” actor Kartik had also signed a three-film contract with KJo. The actor had begun working for one of the movies in November, however, things did turn out as planned.

Upcoming films of Kartik Aaryan

Reports have been doing the rounds that Kartil Aaryan will soon romance Kriti Sanon in Dinesh Vijan’s next. The film is rumored to be a romantic comedy and the content and screenplay are being finished.

The untitled project will apparently be produced underneath Maddock Films, besides Laxman Utekar will be the director of the film.
