Tollywood superstar King Nagarjuna is going to enthrall his fans with his upcoming flick "Brahmastra" which marks his comeback to Bollywood after a long gap of 15 years. According to the Times of India, the ace filmmaker Karan Johar has announced that Nagarjuna had been roped into this most awaited movie for a special role.

The actor Joined the star cast of Brahmastra. The film's shoot has commenced from Monday in Bulgaria. The film producer Karan Johar took to Twitter posting an exclusive still starring Nagarjuna with Bollywood stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and other crew members.

Nagarjuna received a grand welcome on the set. Karan Johar also expressed his delight by welcoming the Tollywood superstar onboard with a special tweet.

The veteran star Nagarjuna thanked all the actors of the film and also expressed his excitement saying that it was so special, in response to the Karan's warm welcome. The actor reached Bulgaria with his wife Amala who is also a well-known actress in the southern film industry.

The south Indian star shared a pic on his official Twitter account expressing his joy and happiness to meet the BigB Amitabh Bachchan as the Brahmastra team awaits his presence in the shoot yet. He also felt happy to meet the leading cast Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. Nagarjuna is seen posing with Brahmastra director Ayan Mukherjee, his wife Amala Akkineni, Alia Bhatt, and Ranbir Kapoor in the pic.

'Brahmastra' to release next year

Nagarjuna Akkineni also said that he had signed the project as he felt the role has some significance in the movie. Earlier, the actor was one of the lead actors in the movie LoC Kargil which was released in 2003 which also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan.

Brahmastra also features the tv series "Naagin" fame Mouni Roy.

Earlier the actress shared a picture of herself with the Tollywood star on Instagram quoting that all the shoot days are grateful and peaceful.

Brahmastra touted to be a fantasy adventure film was being directed by Ayan Mukerji. Brahmastra will be the first part of a trilogy and is expected to hit the screens on India's Independence Day, i.e., on August 15, 2019. The film is being helmed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
