Criticizing the Narendra Modi-led bjp government, Congress accused the party of defaming Bangalore by showcasing fake photos. The photos, according to the Congress, was not that of Bangalore, but of downtrodden areas in Kathmandu and other states. Hashtagging #NavaKarnatakaNirmana, the Congress tweeted: “The BJP is doing what it does best: defaming [Bangalore] using images from other countries and states. Our [government] is doing what it does best: Transforming Bangalore into a dynamic and hi-tech city.”

Congress says it has completed many projects

On March 1, Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah inaugurated the TenderSURE project on Church Street in Bangalore.

Last month, the world's largest solar park of 2000MW capacity was inaugurated at Pavagada.

Pavagada in Tumkur district is one of the most drought-prone regions in Karnataka. “Our government has created a unique solution to empower 2,300 farmers by harvesting the power of the sun,” said G Parameshwara, president of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee.

No response from Modi

On the Mahadayi dispute, Karnataka Congress claims that the Prime Minister has not responded to their calls to discuss the issue.

“Even after requesting the Prime Minister to “find time” and call a meeting of the three chief ministers to resolve the Mahadayi dispute, Modi has remained ‘Maun’ (silent),” the Congress claimed.
