‘Wings India 2018’ was inaugurated in Hyderabad on Thursday. The four-day event hosted jointly by the FCCI, Airport Authority of India, and Ministry of Civil aviation, focused on the theme, "India-Global Aviation Hub." The programme will conclude on March 11. RN Choubey, the secretary of civil aviation, reiterated that the Telangana government is keen on forge new alliances and is committed to developing and improving connectivity between cities and the states.

About 35 CEOs and 125 exhibitors will take part in the four-day event. The objective of the event is to help create a blueprint that would help India see progress in the aviation sector.

The event also aims to include stakeholders outside India who could help grow the sector globally.

Panel discussion and roundtables will be held on the following topics: Logistics, cargo, and tourism. The event will also provide a platform for related businesses to network and find relevant partners that they can collaborate with.

Wings India 2018 will also recognize high performers in the field of aviation and offer excellence awards.

The four-day aviation event will conclude on March 11.
