Indian Vice President Venkaiah Naidu stated that the country seeks peaceful, relationship with Pakistan. He stressed that the latter must not support crossborder terrorism. Addressing Abdullah II Bin Al-Hussein, King of Jordan, Naidu stated that he was impressed by the king's speech at ''Islamic Heritage - Promoting Understanding and Moderation'' conference held recently. Naidu expressed his gratitude to Abdullah II Bin Al-Hussein for his remarks on fight against terrorism.

The Jordan king had also pointed out that the global war against anti-social elements is not to target any religion.

He also spoke about the importance of spreading love and peace in the world. Naidu promised that India will remain committed to Palestine. Vice President Naidu added that the country supports Syria's political solution. He added that Narendra Modi's social initiatives such as GST, demonetisation, Make In India, Smart Cities, and Digital India are playing a role in the country's progress.
