Prime Minister Modi on Tuesday said that the Congress party is planning to blame their defeat on faulty EVMs (Electronic voting machines). The BJP also mocked Congress vice-president Sonia ahead of her rally in Karnataka. The party members said that she has come to ‘save her last citadel from falling.’

While former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh called Modi’s policies as disastrous, a new poll indicates that the party has been receiving 100% support from the people. According to the recent Jan Ki Baat's opinion poll, BJP could cross 100-seats while the Congress could be reduced to double-digits in the 2018 Karnataka Assembly Elections.

BS Yeddyurappa, who is running for chief minister in Karnataka, said that the party intends to bring back the glory of the city founded by Nada Prabhu Kempegowda. The party plans to introduce a Comprehensive Development Plan 2033, which will focus on sustainability, livability, urban poor, Swachha Bengaluru, and good connectivity to public transport.

Kempegowda Vasati Yojane will be launched by BJP under which House for All Urban Poor will be launched to provide shelter for slum dwellers and economically weaker sections of the society.
