The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) Tamil Nadu has declared the results of 2018 class 10th and class 12th board exams on May 16, 2018, at 9:30 AM. The results can be checked at the Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Council (TNHSC) official website tnresults.nic.in.

The Tamil Nadu board exam results can also be checked on websites like dge.tn.gov.in and dge1.tn.nic.in.

Students can also avail their results through SMS.

The class 12th Tamil Nadu board exams were conducted from March 1, 2018, to April 6, 2018.

This year, the names of the toppers were not announced.

Last year, KA Sengottaiyan, the School Education Minister had stated that students become sad when they don't find their names in the merit list by only a few marks.

Around 907620 had registered, and 798614 students had appeared for the exam this year. The percentage of students who passed last year in the TN board exams were a high 92.1 %.

Science subject saw the highest pass percentage of 99.78 while History had the least pass percentage of 89.19.

1907 schools in the state have scored 100 pass percentage.

Students can follow the procedure given below to check the results:

Step 1: Go to the official website of the DGE Tamil Nadu.

Step 2: Tap on the link for TN 12th class 2018 result.

Step 3: Enter your roll number/other required details in the areas and choose the submit option.

Step 4: The result will be presented on the screen, and it can be printed out for future reference.
