Former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni is gearing up to play in the eleventh season of the Indian Premier League.

He has led Chennai Super Kings to two title wins. The auction for this year's edition of the IPL is just around the corner, and Chennai Super Kings are all geared up to make a strong comeback after completing a two-year-suspension.

Chennai had an option to retain three players, and they retained their best players MS Dhoni, S Raina, and Ravindra Jadeja.

Ahead of the 2018 players auction, Dhoni stressed on the need to involve many local players in the team, and he also confirmed their former players Dwayne Bravo, Faf du Plessies and New Zealand's fiery opener Brendon McCullum are on their radar.

When asked about playing for other franchises, Dhoni said, "A lot of people approached me, I can tell you that," he said. "I can't think of not coming back to CSK. "I enjoyed the five years I had spent with CSK. That's my best five years in IPL" he added.
