On Saturday, April 14, 2018, it's a doubleheader, the first game of the Indian Premier League will be played between the Mumbai Indians and Delhi Daredevils at 4:00 PM India time.
The second t20 match will be played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Eden Gardens in Kolkatta at 8:00 PM India time.
Mumbai Indians vs Delhi Daredevils
Experts are of the opinion that two-time champions, the Mumbai Indians are short of batsmen as it was visible in their two games. There is not much depth in their batting after Rohit Sharma gets out hurriedly.
Only in the first game against the Chennai Super Kings, their batsmen were able to put up a good score.
Hopefully, in today's game, they will chase a good score or bat first and put up a formidable total on the board. Rohit Sharma needs to play two down or needs to have the patience to play and stay at the wickets at least until the 12th over.

Hardik Pandya is recovering well and is expected to return for Saturday's clash. When Mumbai Indians' campaign was starting just about a week ago, their main weakness was being seen as the lack of a standout spin-bowling option.
And seeing the trend in the tournament so far, if Delhi Daredevils win the toss, they may want to chase down a total too. They have in their line-up power hitters such as Colin Munro, Glenn Maxwell, Rishabh Pant and Chris Morris. One of these two teams, however, will lose Saturday's game, their third in a row.

Mumbai have lost two tight games, one of which they had no business losing.
Daredevils could say they got on the wrong end of DLS in their last match. They were given a reasonable score to win in just six overs.
Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Kolkotta Knight Riders
Hyderabad currently lead the points table with two wins from two games and two points; they also have a better run rate than the others.
The team also boast of envious bowling resources.
The terrific form of Rashid Khan and Siddarth Kaul ensures its unit's good health.

The Kolkatta team won a game and lost one and are currently in the third spot.
Injured Kamlesh Nagarkoti has been ruled out of IPL season and Prasidh Krishna, the Karnataka fast bowler, has replaced him.
Dinesh Karthik, the Knight Riders skipper, is optimistic about the next game. He said, "There is very little time to change things too much. We have addressed the [fielding] issue, and this is something all players are aware of.
At the end of the day, it's one skill that all the players can contribute. We wish for the best in the forthcoming game."

Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata and Punjab occupy the top four positions in the points table. The Mumbai Indians, who must consider themselves unlucky have lost both their games. To give them company at the bottom of the points table is Delhi Daredevils.
