Kings XI Punjab will take on Mumbai Indians for the first time this season on May 4, 2018, at the Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore. This will be the first match for Kings XI Punjab after shifting their home base from Mohali to Indore.

Punjab slipped to the fourth position last night, but the good thing is they have played only seven matches, out of which they have won five matches. Mumbai, on the other hand, has won two of their eight matches and is lying at the last position.

Kings XI Punjab:

They have got a break of seven days, so they must have done a lot of thinking.

In their last game, against Hyderabad, the bowling was on point but the batting let them down.

Axar Patel is fit again, but because the game is at Indore, he might have to sit out. They might go unchanged into this game.

Mumbai Indians:

For them, this is a do or die game. They played well in the last game too, but they lost another close game. Evin Lewis might comeback in place of JP Duminy. Mustaphizur Rahman can replace Been Cutting. Other than this, the line up has been same this season and will continue to stay that way.

Currently, the Mumbai Indians are in a danger of being knocked out of the tournament.

They have just played pitifully and have won only two games so far in this edition of the IPL losing five games.

Shane Bond, the Mumbai bowling coach, is still hopeful they can turn it around, Cricinfo quoted him as saying, "We have six games left, and we have to win them all. That is what we have to do.We have key players who can win us six games in a row.

We have done it in the past, and I believe we can do it again."

Pitch: The Holkar Stadium has always been a nightmare for the bowlers, as it has good batting wicket and short boundaries.

This is the first match this year, hence we can say much except that this match will be a high-scoring one.

Weather: It will be a hot day and there are no chances of rain.
