Delhi Daredevils hosted the Mumbai Indians at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in New Delhi on May 20, 2018.

Chasing a total of 173 runs to win and perhaps qualify for the playoffs, the Mumbai Indians started well and were on the way to win but suddenly their batting line-up collapsed and lost all wickets for 163 in 19.3 overs.

The two teams previously had met in Mumbai last month, which was won by Delhi.

Delhi was at the bottom of the points table and had no chance of qualifying into the playoffs. They have managed only four wins from their thirteen games.

Mumbai, on the other hand, needed to win this game to qualify as they have won six of their thirteen games and is at the fifth position.

Delhi Daredevils:

Yet again Rishab Pant was the man for DD, he scored a match-winning 64 runs off just 44 balls, smashing four boundaries and four sixes. Though they won't be able to qualify for the playoffs, surely they spoilt the party for the Mumbai team. They played for their pride and are coming off a victory against the Chennai side. They might not be making any changes, just to ensure the momentum keeps going on.

Mumbai Indians: They knew a loss in this game would knock them out of the tournament, so it was crucial for the defending champions to go all guns blazing against Delhi.

They had the highest chances of qualifying as their net run rate was quite good.

Pitch: The Kotla pitch played slower than we expected in the last game. We can expect there will be slightly or no change in the pitch.
